There’s something about inlaid bone or mother of pearl inlay furniture that says global glamour. I’ve read that furniture constructed in this style takes skilled craftsmen weeks to complete and the technique dates back to old Moorish and Indian traditions. Even on pieces with very clean lines, the intricate carvings add character and the style feels at home in a variety of interiors.
